              Identification Tags
These plastic tags are great for all taxidermists for endless marking and labeling needs such as on skins, skulls, horns and antlers, and much more.
- Simply loop the tag around an antler, through the skin on a hide, or through an ear butt, locking the tag into place with a click for a secure hold. Cut off to remove.
- Tanning chemicals or long soaks in liquids will not distort the tags themselves, or wear on the numbers.
- Mix and match! Order multiple colors for quick referencing in your shop. 100 and 500 tag packs are available in the same colors for easy checkout.
Examples
red = rifle season
blue = archery
green = dry tanning
white = wet tanning
- Note: if you plan on using these for skull identification, dermestid beetles can potentially chew through the tags if left in the tank for an excessive period of time.
- Tags are sold with no particular starting number, and will always be in numerical order. All numbers are 6 digits with no repeating values. Every group of ten tags will start with a one, and end in a 0, (Example - 123101 to 123110).
- Sold in 10 tag units. (Qty of 1 is 10 tags, Qty of 5 is 50 tags)
